​Janet Stanzak is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®​ with a Master of Science in Financial Planning with an emphasis on portfolio management. She was named one of Money’s Best Financial Planners in 2024 and received the Financial Planning Association’s Heart of Financial Planning award in 2018. Janet is a national past president of the Financial Planning Association and past president of the FPA of Minnesota, and of the Rotary Club of Chanhassen. 

Janet enjoys the challenges of strategic analysis that pull together the many puzzle pieces of a client’s financial situation into one big picture but what she loves most is helping clients realize their dreams.

In her spare time, Janet volunteers teaching personal finance in high schools along with a Minnesota non-profit, Best Prep. She’s been married over 40 years to a wonderful husband, has two adult children, an English springer Gracie, and loves golf, cooking and cross-country skiing. 

Kristin Garrett, CFP®​

​Kristin Garrett is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®​ practitioner and an active member of the Minnesota chapter of the Financial Planning Association.

Kristin began her career in the wealth management industry based on the technical aspects of planning, but what inspired her to stay was her true passion for cultivating long-term and meaningful client relationships. She enjoys making a difference in her clients’ lives. Kristin's ultimate goal is to provide high quality service and advice so clients feel empowered to pursue what matters most to them.
 
Kristin lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two children, and Golden Retriever Mango. When she’s not working with clients she’s often volunteering at her kids’ activities and high school booster clubs or cheering from the sidelines at baseball and soccer games. She loves traveling near and far, camping, time at the cabin, and any chance to be outdoors.

Mary Reimers
Director of Client Services

With over 25 years of financial planning, investments, and operational experience, Mary has worked in most facets of comprehensive financial life planning. In 2004, she started her own business and has worked for several financial advisory firms as an investment operations virtual assistant from her home in Colorado. 

Mary’s responsibilities have included the ongoing management of portfolio systems, quarterly investment reports and billing, clients’ investment service needs and enhancement of investment processes. She has worked with client meeting preparation across all financial planning subjects, is well versed in investment operations and client service, and has managed complex software programs through many changes and upgrades.

Outside of work, Mary stays busy at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, is a wife of 26 years, and is a proud mom to three girls, a son-in-law and is a new grandmother!  In her free time, Mary enjoys photography, rucking, yoga, following health and wellness influencers, treasures time traveling as a family, and loving on their Havanese fur baby, Coda.

Sami Decker
Financial Planning Associate

Sami brings more than 15 years of experience in client engagement, brand marketing, and community partnerships. Most recently, she led marketing for an investment management firm, where she was inspired by the positive impact thoughtful planning can have on people’s lives.

​With a background in marketing and entrepreneurship, and a heart for service, Sami is pursuing her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation to support clients more directly in achieving their financial goals. Driven by a passion for meaningful connection, she believes there is no greater privilege than walking alongside others and supporting them through life’s journey.

​Sami lives in Minnetrista with her husband, Dylan, their two young children, Fiona and Bennett, and dog Nina. Outside of work, she loves everything Minnesota has to offer—boating, biking, wake surfing, snowboarding, and plenty of time at the cabin. She’s also active in her community, including Westwood Church, Jonathan Montessori School, and Victoria Elementary. And if you’re a fellow traveler, be warned: Sami loves swapping travel stories and is always eager to hear about your favorite places and adventures.
